1. Operator and contact

STARSTECH MEET is provided by StarsTech through meet.starstech.sa. Contact info@sta.sa about this policy or your personal data.

2. Account and guest information

We process your name, email address, optional photo and session information needed for access. Account passwords are stored as hashes, not readable text. We maintain join requests, admission decisions, attendance, meeting messages, settings and security and operational records.

3. Sign in with Google

If you choose Google, we request your name, email address, profile picture and account identifier to verify identity, populate your join details and display your photo. We do not request Gmail, Drive or contacts access. We do not store your Google password. Authorization tokens are used for verification and are not retained as permanent account credentials. A matching email alone does not grant access to a registered account or inherit prior admission.

4. Visibility within meetings

Your name and photo are visible to authorized meeting participants. The host can see a guest’s email address and verification status to manage admission. Participants can access chat and shared content according to meeting permissions. Photos are optional; without one, your first initial is shown. You can change or remove your photo in Account settings.

5. Media and AI features

Audio, video and screen sharing are processed to deliver meetings using LiveKit infrastructure. Joining does not automatically start recording; recording availability depends on enabled service features. When a voice assistant or translation is enabled with your consent, the necessary audio is sent to OpenAI for processing. Resulting text may be saved in the workspace and made available to authorized attendees. You can withdraw consent to stop processing your voice for that feature.

6. Purposes and service providers

We use data to operate accounts and meetings, verify identity, enforce host permissions, provide support and prevent abuse. Google provides optional identity verification; OpenAI processes selected AI features. Hosting or processing providers may operate in different countries. We do not sell Google data or use it for targeted advertising. Use and transfer of Google data follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable.

7. Storage, retention and protection

Account, visit and content data are retained according to their type, operational purpose, security needs and applicable obligations. Closing a tab or ending a meeting does not automatically delete its records. We use access controls, HTTPS and size-limited image processing, and may maintain recovery backups. No technical system guarantees absolute security.

8. Your choices and data requests

You can change or remove your photo, deny camera, microphone or notification permissions, and use manual guest entry instead of Google. You can revoke the application’s access in your Google Account settings. Send access, correction, deletion or retention questions to info@sta.sa. We verify the requester’s identity and review requests in light of applicable obligations and other participants’ rights. Revoking Google access does not automatically delete saved meeting data.

9. Session storage and notifications

We use session cookies and local storage for authentication, preferences and interface state. Browser notifications require permission and can be disabled in browser settings. Security logs may include technical information such as network address, browser type and request time.

10. Changes

Changes are published on this page with an updated date. If the use of Google data changes beyond the purpose you authorized, we explain the change and obtain appropriate consent before the new use.
